clean, well-decorated room, lovely outdoor space, complimentary snacks
Unacceptable that the tea cups weren't washed and replaced!!! The fire alarm issue was bizarre, being awoken multiple times is hardly acceptable!!!

Central location near a local market adds charm to the stay. Spacious bar area offers a cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Rooms facing the High Street provide an interesting view of the town's hustle and bustle.
Room adjustments could be tricky, especially temperature control in the shower, which means some guests might experience inconvenience. The age of the building means no lift, making it challenging for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues. Dampness in some rooms may be an issue for certain travelers, though it didn’t ruin the overall experience for me.

The double room was clean, well-equipped, and provided a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety, including fresh fruit and cooked options, which was a highlight. The location in the town center made it convenient, though parking could be tricky on market days. noise from the street could be disruptive, especially for light sleepers, as windows couldn't be closed due to air conditioning units.

Ask for a room away from the refurbishments for a quieter experience, and enjoy the decanter of sherry in your room.

Perfect spot for families!
We loved staying here with the kids! The triple room was super comfy and had loads of drinks options, even a decanter of sherry. The staff were friendly and made us feel so welcome. The food was tasty too, especially in the bar area. Just wished the Wi-Fi was a bit better, sometimes it got pretty slow.

We loved our stay in a cozy Double or Twin Room, especially enjoying the yummy dinner and the complimentary snacks in the room. It was nice to relax in the inviting bar area and watch telly in the comfort of our room. Just a heads up, the bar can get a bit crowded, so maybe try to head down early for a seat! 😊

The food was excellent especially the evening meals, truly hit the spot after a long day. Also really appreciated the complimentary sherry and soft towels in the bathroom, made the stay so much better.
It wasn’t really cheap but given what we got it was acceptable.
